Although they may be incredibly useful, they do have a draw back, if some one uses a flash-bang or some other powerful light source and your looking at it with night vision, the effect on your eyes is much worse than normal.

Your more likely to find this in a coastal town or city than some place inland, but its always expensive and never that easy to find a set that is not already owned by someone else.

Breathing under water is a mixed blessing, there are various guns that don’t work under water, not to mention that trying to punch or bash something underwater is practically useless with out some sort of leverage. And if you run into some sort of aquatic abomination with your primary means of combat rendered useless you’ll wish you had just stayed on land… be prepared.
